Banana Cantaloupe Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen cantaloupe chunks (1-inch pieces)
  • 1 large ripe banana, previously sliced and frozen
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup plain whole milk yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons almond butter
  • 1-2 tablespoons maple syrup, to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Diamond Crystal Kosher Salt

Blend Everything Together

Combine all the ingredients in a high-powered blender: frozen cantaloupe, frozen banana, almond milk, yogurt, almond butter, 1 tablespoon of maple syrup, and salt.

Secure the lid and start blending on low speed, gradually increasing to high.

Blend for ~1-2 minutes, using the tamper if necessary, until the smoothie is completely smooth and creamy.

Adjust and Serve

Taste the smoothie. If you want it sweeter, add the second tablespoon of maple syrup and blend again for a few seconds.

If the smoothie is too thick to blend properly, add another splash of almond milk.

Pour into glasses immediately and serve. This smoothie is best consumed right away, as it will start to separate as it warms up.
